NICHOLSON, Rev. Harvey S., a Representative from Mercer County; born in Elk Lick Township, Somerset County, Pa., December 29, 1864; attended, Carrier Seminary of Western Pennsylvania (now Pennsylvania Western University, Clarion); attended, Grove City College; attended, Heidelberg Theological Seminary; ordained, 1896; teacher; minister; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1924; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1926); died, January 18, 1941 in Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Lauderdale, Broward County, Florida.
