NEWTON, Lloyd Stanley, a Representative from Potter County; born in Sharon Township, Potter County, Pa., August 17, 1879; educated in the public schools; deputy prothonotary, Potter County (1904-1910); chair, Potter County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1912 and served 1 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1914); died, December 18, 1965 in Coudersport, Potter County, Pennsylvania; interred, Woodland Cemetery, Hebron, Potter County, Pennsylvania.
