NEEL, Samuel, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, January 31, 1863 in East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pa.; attended, Mount Pleasant Institute; attended, Parsons College; farmer; conducted a dairy and milk route; school director, East Huntingdon Township (2 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1910 and 1912; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1914); died, April 18, 1940 in Easton, Monongalia County, West Virginia; interred, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Mount Pleasant, Westmoreland, Pennsylvania.
