MYERS, Robert L., a Representative from Cumberland County; born in November 16, 1862, Round Hill, Adams County, Pa.; attended, Baugher’s Academy; graduated, Cumberland Valley State Normal School (now Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania), 1885; carpenter’s apprentice; teacher; school supervisor; school director, Camp Hill; founder and manager, National Educational Bureau; publisher, Myers, Fishel and Co.; publisher, R.L. Myers, & Company; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1899, 1901, and 1903 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1905 term; president, Lemoyne Trust Company; died, March 23, 1943 in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint John’s Cemetery, Shiremanstown, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.
