D., Philadelphia College of Pharmacy, 1898; proprietor, drug store; member, 29th Ward Republican Executive Committee; elected, 29th Ward School Director (2 terms); member, 29th Ward Republican Committee; unsuccessful campaign,  Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1904; reelected to serve 2 more consecutive terms thereafter; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1910); assistant, Recorder of Deeds office, Philadelphia; died, April 7, 1929 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Carpenter Church Cemetery, West Earl Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
