(1863-1872); appointed, joint freight agent, Erie and Western New York Railways, Union City, Pa.(1873-1883); senior partner and gristmill manager, Union Coal & Supply Company (1877-1907); agent, Erie Railway (1883-1903); elected, council, Union City; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1898 and 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); elected, alternate delegate, Republican National Convention (1912); died, October 26, 1931 in Union City, Erie County, Pennsylvania; interred, Evergreen Cemetery, Union City, Erie County, Pennsylvania.
