MOULTHROP, Alonzo Sylvester, a Representative from Clearfield County; born, April 2, 1863 in Westport, Clinton County, Pa.; educated in public schools; newsboy; clerk, general store; owner, Moulthrop and McClellen, general store; owner, carpet and shoe business; co-owner, hardware store; director, DuBois National Bank; director, Keystone Mercantile Company; vice president, State Mercantile Insurance Company; director, Central Y.M.C.A.; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1906, 1908, 1910, and 1912; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1914); died, July 16, 1945 in DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Morningside Cemetery, DuBois, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
