MORRISON, John W., a Representative from Berks County; born in Reading, Berks County, Pa., May 24, 1852; machinist; fireman (1869-1929) and secretary (1885-1929), Friendship Fire Company, Reading; elected, assessor, 3rd precinct, Reading (1911-1915); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1906; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1908); died, August 14, 1929 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Evans Cemetery, Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
