MOORE, William Harry, a Representative from Jefferson County; born in Corsica, Jefferson County, Pa., September 2, 1867; attended, Corsica Academy; attended, Clarion State Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western University, Clarion); attended, Duff’s Business College; teacher (4 years); engaged in mercantile business; elected, council president, Corsica (1917-1924); appointed, prothonotary and clerk of courts, Jefferson County (1927); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1929 term and reelected for the 1931 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1933 term; died, March 8, 1944 in Reynoldsville, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania; interred, Pisgah Cemetery, Corsica, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
