MOORE, Maxwell John, a Representative from McKean County; born in Driftwood, Cameron County, Pa., May 19, 1870; graduated, DuBois High School; passenger conductor, Buffalo, Rochester and Pittsburgh Railroad (52 years); elected, controller, Bradford (1911-1918); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1922; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1924); unsuccesful campaign, commissioner, McKean County (1943); died, April 20, 1952 in Bradford, Braford County, Pennsylvnaia; interred, Willow Dale Cemetery, Bradford, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
