Houghton and Company, oils (1901-1913); secretary, 39th Ward School Board (12 years); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican for the 1911and 1913 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1914); member, 39th Ward Republican Executive Committee; died, December 7, 1918 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Woodlands Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
