MOORE, Alonzo Ross, a Representative from Potter County; born, April 20, 1858 in Belfast, Allegany County, NY; educated in public schools; elected, sheriff, Potter County (1892-1896); member, Central State Republican Committee (1896-1897); attorney; appointed, bankruptcy referee, Potter County, Western District of Pennsylvania (1899); appointed, bankruptcy referee, Potter and Cameron counties, Middle District of Pennsylvania (1901); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1902; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1904); died, December 22, 1932 in Wellsboro, Tioga County, Pennsylvania.
