MOHN, Dr. George Calvin, a Representative from Union County; born in Centreville, Snyder County, Pa., May 24, 1858; M.D., College of Physicians and Surgeons, Baltimore, Md., 1882; teacher; physician; proprietor, drug store; proprietor, Laurelton Lumber Company (1891-1900) and Linden Hall Lumber Company; farmer; postmaster, United States Postal Service, Laurelton (1889-1893); unsuccessful campaign, Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1902 and 1904; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1906); elected, council, Lewistown; director, Lewisburg Trust and Safe Company; president, Buffalo Valley Telephone Company; died, June 3, 1914 in Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania; interred, Lewisburg Cemetery, Lewisburg, Union County, Pennsylvania.
