MILLS, Charles E., a Representative from Bradford County; born in Sheshequin, Bradford County, Pa., November 26, 1876; graduated, Everett High School; graduated, Southwestern Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western University, California); LL.B., Cornell University, 1898; lawyer; member, Bradford County Republican Committee; elected, justice of the peace, Athens borough (1901); appointed, District Attorney, Bradford County (1904); elected, District Attorney, Bradford County (1905-1907); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1909 and 1911 terms; elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1913-1916); solicitor, Sayre, Pa.; died, January 3, 1954 in Sayre, Bradford County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sheshequin Valley Cemetery, Sheshequin, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
