MILLER, Robert Crawford, a Representative from Montgomery County; born, October 31, 1862 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa.; car clerk and telegraph operator, Philadelphia and Reading Railway Company; trainmaster; chief clerk to the commissioners, Montgomery County (15 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1908; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1910); elected, register of wills, Montgomery County (1916-1932); deputy chief tax inheritance appraiser, Montgomery County (1933-1937); died, July 26, 1937 in Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania; interred, Riverside Cemetery, Norristown, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
