Lawfer and Company; school director, Allentown; proprietor, Miller General Stores; elected, chief burgess, Northampton Borough; elected, council, Northampton Borough; president, Allentown Trust Company; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1925, 1927, and 1929 terms; unsuccessful candidate for reelection to the House for the 1931 term; served, Northampton County Prison Board (4 years); proprietor, Miller & Sons, department store; director, National Bank of Catasauqua; board president, Nazareth Mutual Fire Insurance Co.; died, October 18, 1956 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania; interred, Greenwood Cemetery, Howertown, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
