MILLER, Donald D., a Representative from Clearfield County; born, December 9, 1877 in Grampian Hills, Clearfield County, Pa.; farmer; miner and shipper of coal; member, Clearfield County Republican Committee (chair, 1898); enumerator, United States Census, Clearfield County (1900); elected, justice of the peace (1909, 1917); elected, president, Penn Township school board; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1918 and 1920; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1922); died, December 21, 1948 in Penn Township, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; interred, Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Chestnut Grove, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
