(1896-1899); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1898 and 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); elected, council, Bangor (1905-1910); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1907-1910); president and director, Merchants’ National Bank; president and director, Bangor Casket Company; receiver, S. Floatey Manufacturing Company; director, Bangor Steam Heat Company; died, February 11, 1947 in Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, St. John’s Cemetery, Bangor, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
