Hilbert" (1946), United States Navy (1944-1946, World War II); teacher (20 years); Republican Committeeman; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1975 term and served 8 consecutive terms thereafter; appointed, Select Committee to Study the Feasibility of a Harrisburg University (1990);not a candidate for reelection to the House (1992); died, March 29, 2010 in Wyomissing, Berks County, Pennsylvania; interred, Sinking Spring Cemetery, Sinking Spring, Berks County, Pennsylvania.
