PAUL, Mickle C., a Representative from Philadelphia County; born in New Brighton, Beaver County, Pa., June 10, 1837; private, 15th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Calvary (1862-1865, Civil War; Signal Corps, 1863-1865); school teacher; editor; engaged, Paul Brothers Firm, wholesale shoe dealers (1867-1900); unsuccessful campaign, common council, Philadelphia (1894); unsuccessful campaign, treasurer, Philadelphia (1897); elected as a Fusion Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1901 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); died, December of 1928 in Eustis, Lake County, Florida; interred, Laurel Hill Cemetery, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania.
