MESTA, Charles J., a Representative from Allegheny County; born in Bethel Township, Allegheny County, Pa., February 20, 1873; attended, Western University of Pennsylvania (now University of Pittsburgh); superintendent, Leechburg Foundry and Machine Company; elected, council, Leechburg; elected, council, West Homestead; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1907 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1909 term; vice president, Mesta Machine Company; died, March 6, 1923 in Homestead, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Homestead Cemetery, Munhall, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
