McMULLEN, John T., a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Danville, Montour County, Pa., May 6, 1877; served, Company E, 12th Regiment, Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry (1898, Spanish-American War); iron worker; coal miner; carpenter; employed, Pennsylvania Railroad Company (1900-1937: brakeman, 10 years; conductor, 27 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1910 and 1920; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1912); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922); died, March 1, 1941 in Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Odd Fellows’ Cemetery, Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.
