McLARN, Joseph H., a Representative from Washington County; born, August 6, 1854 in Murdocksville, Allegheny County, Pa.; attended, Frankfort Springs Academy; engaged in the mercantile business (17 years); farmer and stockraiser; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1898 and reelected in 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); died, October 11, 1933 in Emsworth, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania; interred, Robinson Run Cemetery, McDonald, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
