McJUNKIN, Capt. Ira B., a Representative Butler County; born, February 13, 1860 in Butler, Butler County, Pa.; cadet midshipman, United States Naval Academy, 1881; served, United States Navy (1881-1883); captain, commander of Company E, 15th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (9 years; Spanish American War, 1898-1899); school teacher; lawyer (1886-1935); elected, District Attorney, Butler County (4 years); school director, Butler (9 years); member, L. S. McJunkin & Co., real estate and insurance firm; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1907 term; reelected to the House for the 1909 and 1911 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1913 term; died, December 7, 1935 in Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania; interred, North Side Cemetery, Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania.
