MARTIN, Joseph B., a Representative from Dauphin County; born in Londonderry Township, Dauphin County, Pa., February 5, 1870; graduated, Middletown High School; teacher (26 years); school principal; director, YMCA (10 years); circulation manager, Middletown Weekly Journal (15 years); elected as a member of the Washington Party for the 1913 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1915 term; died, July 7, 1952 in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania; interred, Middletown Cemetery, Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.
