MARSTELLER, James Lycurgus, a Representative from Lehigh County; born in Whitehall Township, Lehigh County, Pa., September 27, 1849; attended, Allentown Collegiate and Military Institute; school teacher (2 years); clerk, Central Railroad Company of New Jersey (6 years); lawyer; elected, council,  Allentown (1887-1888); chair, Lehigh County Republican Committee (1899-1906); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1905 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1907 term; secretary and treasurer, Allentown Trust Co. (1907-1916); trustee, Fairview State Asylum for the Criminally Insane (1907-1916); died, March 6, 1916 in Allentown, Lehigh County, Pennsylvania.
