Bissell & Company; Boston Iron Works, Franklin (1871-1879); partner, Maloney & Hurley, oil well supply dealer; elected, council, Franklin; elected, mayor, Franklin (2 terms); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Democrat to serve the 1899 and 1901 terms; died, July 27, 1908 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Franklin Cemetery, Franklin, Venango County, Pennsylvania.
