MALONE, Thomas Devine, a Representative from Allegheny County; born, November 1, 1875 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pa.; paper ruler; appointed, assistant superintendent of police, Pittsburgh (1903-1906); appointed, special agent, Bureau of Police, Pittsburgh (1906-1934); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1908 and served 1 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1910); reelected to the House as a Democrat in 1938; died while in office, July 8, 1940 in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
