MALLERY, Frank Vandoozer, a Representative from Venango County; born in Fairfield Township, Crawford County, Pa., July 29, 1856; attended, Northwest State Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western Universtity, Edinboro) and Allegheny College; farmer; teacher (7 years); school director, Saegerstown (1894); clerk, general store (4 years); oil and gas surveyor, private industry; county surveyor, Crawford County; elected, select council, Oil City; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to serve the 1919 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1921 term; unsuccessful campaign, treasurer, Crawford County (1923); land surveyor; farmer; died, December 26, 1946; interred, Cochranton Cemetery, Cochranton, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
