MAHON, Dr. William T., a Representative from Luzerne County; born in Lake Winola, Wyoming County, Pa., December 28, 1851; attended, Keystone Academy, Factoryville; M.D., Jefferson Medical College (now Sidney Kimmel Medical College), 1883; teacher; principal; physician; elected, council, Nanticoke (1898-1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1901 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1902); died, June 30, 1910 in Nanticoke, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania; interred, Hollenback Cemetery, Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.
