LOUCKS, John Lyman, a Representative from Westmoreland County; born, East Huntingdon Township, Westmoreland County, Pa. on March 6, 1860; attended, Western Pennsylvania Classical and Scientific Institute; farmer; served, justice of the peace and notary public (25 years); school director (14 years); member, election board (35 years); estate administrator and executor; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1926; served 3 consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1932); died, July 22, 1957 in New York City, New York County, New York; interred, Alverton Cemetery, Alverton, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.
