LIGHT, Jeremiah H., a Representative from Franklin County; born in Cornwall Township, Lebanon County, Pa., February 26, 1856; graduated, Central State Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania), 1882; attorney (1886-1939); lawyer; elected, District Attorney, Franklin County (1896-1899); school director; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1911 and 1913 terms; unsuccessful campaign, United States Congress (1914); unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1920, 1930, 1932); died, March 13, 1939 in Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Cedar Hill Cemetery, Greencastle, Franklin County, Pennsylvania.
