LEIDICH, Ray D., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Tremont, Schuylkill County, Pa., October 12, 1893; graduated, Tremont High School; graduated, Bloomsburg Literary Institute and Normal School (now Commonwealth University of Pennsylvania); graduated, Susquehanna University; corporal, 28th Division, United States Army (World War I); school teacher; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1925 term and served 3 more consecutive terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1933 term; died, April 17, 1971 in Tremont, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania; interred, Saint John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
