LEIB, Howard E., a Representative from Schuylkill County; born in Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pa., November 10, 1868; machinist; operator, retail coal business; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1901 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); appointed, deputy internal revenue collector, Pennsylvania Auditor General’s office (1902-1905); clerk, Dairy and Food Division, Pennsylvania State Treasury Department (1905); draughtsman, Pennsylvania Secretary of Internal Affairs’ office (1907-1910); died, March 2, 1910 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania; interred, Charles Baber Cemetery, Pottsville, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania.
