LEEDS, Horace Winfred, Representative from Philadelphia County; born in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pa., November of 1876; graduated, Friends Central School, 1894; attended, Drexel University; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1902; lawyer; reading clerk, Pennsylvania State Senate (1903-1904); assistant city solicitor, Philadelphia (1916-1920, 1921-1933); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1921 term; resigned from the House, April 28, 1921; elected, sheriff, Philadelphia County; died, August 13, 1953 in Ocean City, Cape May County, New Jersey; interred, Seaside Cemetery, Palermo, Atlantic County, New Jersey.
