LAUVER, Henry Ira, a Representative from Juniata County; born in Milford Township, Juniata County, Pa., July 1, 1862; graduated, Mifflintown High School; farmer; school director, Milford Township (3 years); elected, auditor, Milford Township (12 years); elected, treasurer, Juniata County (1914-1920); unsuccessful campaign for election to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives (1920); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1922 and 1924; not a candidate for reelection to the House in the 1926 General election; died, February 25, 1933 in Milford Township, Juniata County, Pennsylvania; interred, Westminster Presbyterian Cemetery, Mifflintown, Juniata County, Pennsylvania.
