LATSHAW, Elmer B., a Representative from Armstrong County; born, February 17, 1861 in Clarion County, Pa.; attended, the Northwest State Normal School (now Pennsylvania Western University, Edinboro); employed, Bridgewater Gas Company (1884-1887); employed, Ohio Valley Gas Company (1888-1889); elected, council, Kittanning; elected, school board, Kittanning; partner, Vanport Brick Company; proprietor, Kittanning Brick & Fire Clay Company; manager, Hydraulic Pressed Brick Company, St. Louis; elected as a Republican/Washington Party candidate to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1913 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House for the 1915 term; died, April 26, 1947 in Boggs Township, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania; interred, Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, Armstrong County, Pennsylvania.
