KUNKLE, Edwin T., a Representative from Monroe County; born in Kresgeville, Monroe County, Pa., September 16, 1868; graduated, Fairview Academy; graduated, Muhlenberg College, 1893; teacher; principal, Fairview Academy (16 years); teller and  assistant cashier, First National Bank of Stroudsburg; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1914 and 1918; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1916); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1920); died, February 13, 1922 in Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania; interred, Kresgeville Cemetery, Kresgeville, Monroe County, Pennsylvania.
