KRAUSE, Thaddeus Stevens, a Representative from Philadelphia County; born, February 25, 1867 in Worchester Township, Montgomery County, Pa.; graduated, Ursinus College, 1887; LL.B., University of Pennsylvania Law School, 1891; lawyer; elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918 and 1920; elected, delegate, proposed State Constitutional Convention (1921); not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922); elected, Pennsylvania State Senate (1922-1934); died, May 12, 1952 in Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania; interred, Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.
