KOOSER, Ernest R., A Representative from Fayette County; born, January 18, 1887 in Sterling, Fayette County, Pa.; attended, West Virginia University; weighmaster, claim clerk, and timekeeper, Baltimore & Ohio Railroad Company; bookkeeper, assistant superintendent of transportation, superintendent, and member of board of directors, West Penn Railways Company (1907-1955); elected to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives as a Republican in 1918 and 1920; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922); died, June 23, 1971 in Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania; interred, Green Ridge Memorial Park, Connellsville, Fayette County, Pennsylvania.
