KOHR, Adam E., a Representative from York County; born in Fousttown, York County, Pa., February 20, 1865; attended, Emigsville and Jefferson schools; graduated, Lebanon Valley College; director of the poor; school teacher, York and Windsor Township (1882-1890); engineer and surveyor, Hanover (1896-1927); elected, justice of the peace (1898-1906); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in a Special Election on January 9, 1906; Sworn-In, January 15, 1906 to serve the remaining 1905 term; reelected to the House for the 1907 term; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1908); assessor, Hanover; died, September 8, 1954 in Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania; interred, Mount Olivet Cemetery, Hanover, York County, Pennsylvania.
