KLINGER, George Edward, a Representative from Northumberland County; born in Shamokin, Northumberland County, Pa., October 26, 1874; attended, Shamokin Business College; private, 21st Infantry, United States Army (1898, Spanish-American War); coal miner; barber; employed by the railroad industry; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1915 term; not a candidate for reelection to the House for the 1917 term; proprietor, gas station; died, January 28, 1949 in South Lebanon Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania; interred, Freemansburg Cemetery, Freemansburg, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
