KIRKBRIDE, Mabelle A. Mills, a Representative from Montgomery County; born in Lancaster, Schuyler County, Mo., February 12, 1889; graduated, Mrs. Smallwood’s School; graduated, Kirksville Teachers College, 1907; English teacher, Kirksville High School (1907-1910); organizer, Montgomery County Council of Republican Women (1926); vice-chair, Montgomery County Republican Committee; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 1929 and 1931 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1932); employed, Montgomery County Records Department (1935-1963); died, February 6, 1976 in Buffalo, Erie County, New York; interred, the Independent Order of Odd Fellows Cemetery, Lancaster, Schuyler County, Missouri.
