JORDAN, Rev. Charles G., a Representative from Lawrence County; born in Volant, Lawrence County, Pa., December 25, 1865; graduated, Westminster College, 1891; graduated, Princeton Theological Seminary, 1895; agricultural and cattle farmer; minister; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives to the 1919 and 1921 terms; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1922); appointed, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (1927-1931); died, June 22, 1934 in New Castle, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fair Oaks Cemetery, New Wilmington, Lawrence County, Pennsylvania.
