JONES, Charles B., a Representative from Clearfield County; born in Philipsburg, Centre County, Pa., April 9, 1872; planing mill trade; outside foreman, Beulah Shaft Coal Company; store manager, James H. Minds, Ramey, Pa.; director, Bigler Township School Board (21 years); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1922 and 1924; unsuccessful campaigns for reelection to the House (1926, 1930, 1932); died, June 17, 1954 in Philipsburg, Centre County, Pennsylvania; interred, Beulah Cemetery, Ramey, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
