JOHNSON, Irwin N., a Representative from Northampton County; born in Washington Township, Northampton County, Pa., April 19, 1862; graduated, Ursinus College; graduated, University Medical College, New York City, 1887; teacher; physician; elected, school board, Pen Argyl Township; elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1898 and 1900; not a candidate for reelection to the House (1902); reelected to the House in 1922; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1924, 1926); died, September 19, 1932 in Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pennsylvania; interred, Fairview Cemetery, Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pennsylvania.
