JENNINGS, William Worth, a Representative from Bradford County; born in Sullivan County, Pa., October 25, 1884; graduated, Cascadilla School, Ithaca, NY; graduated, Pennsylvania Military College; farmer; lumber manufacturer; silk and cut glass manufacturer; director and treasurer, Towanda Water Works; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1916 and 1918; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1920, 1942); unsuccessful campaign, State Senate (1922); vice president then president, First National Bank of Towanda; operator, Jenningshurst Stock Farm; owner and operator, Jennings Auto Parts Store; died, June 11, 1967 in Bath, Steuben County, New York; interred, Oak Hill Cemetery, Towanda, Bradford County, Pennsylvania.
