JAMES, Edward, Jr., a Representative from Lackawanna County; born in Bellevue Heights, Lackawanna County, Pa., January 8, 1868; graduated, Wood’s Commercial College; coal miner; bookkeeper; general mercantile business; elected, select council, Scranton (1897-1900); elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1900 and 1902; died while in office, March 15, 1904 in Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania; interred, Washburn Street Cemetery, Scranton, Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania.
