ISHERWOOD, Francis P., a Representative from McKean County; born, 1862 near Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pa.; attended, Cambridge Springs schools, served, Company C, 16th Regiment, Pennsylvania National Guard (1878); flagman, Erie Railroad, Bradford (1885); manager, collections department, Bovaird and Seyfang Manufacturing Company (16 years); elected, treasurer, McKean County (4 years); proprietor, real estate and fire insurance business; appointed, Deputy United States Marshall (1913-1916); elected as a Democrat to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1916; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1918); died, August of 1950 in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida; interred, Mitchell Cemetery, Cambridge Springs, Crawford County, Pennsylvania.
