IRVIN, Charles Henry, a Representative from Jefferson County; born in Liberty, Tioga County, Pa., October 29, 1866; attended, Lock Haven Business College; attended, Bethany College, WV; proprietor, the William Irvin Company, tannery (28 years); farmer; elected, Big Run school board (27 years); elected, council, Big Run; president, Citizen National Bank of Big Run; elected as a Republican to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in 1922 and 1924; unsuccessful campaign for reelection to the House (1926); died, March 24, 1940 in Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania; interred, Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum, Punxsutawney, Jefferson County, Pennsylvania.
